Membuat Topologi Virtual Router di Olive
Setelah selesai instalasi Olive, sekarang kita coba buat topologi baru di Olive. Langkah-langkahnya

Pastikan sudah tersambung antara image di VM dengan SecureCRT. Konfigurasi dikonsol dari SecureCRT.
Login ke Root (127.0.0.1)

Dengan command show configure dieksekusi di secureCRT, terlihat interface em0.0 sudah dikonfigurasi dengan IP 10.0.11.56, fungsi interface itu adalah untuk remote virtual lewat IP em0.0. Syarat agar bisa di-remote, di pc harus sama networknya. Buka network dan sharing center, lalu setting IPv4 Address di VMNet1 menjadi 1 network dengan IP di em0.0 (IP dalam range 10.0.11.0/24).
Ganti IP Addressnya menjadi IP Address yang masuk dalam range IP Address interface em0.0 (10.0.11.0/24)
Kemudian coba ping dari Windows command prompt ke IP em0.0 (10.0.11.56). Jika reply berarti koneksi sudah berhasil.
Dari SecureCRT, buka session ke tiap virtual router. Gunakan username dan password yang sudah disetting di langkah 3 tadi, untuk membuka virtual router lain, klik kanan di tab salah satu virtual router, pilih clone session.
Jika terlihat bad auth parameter, ini karena belum disetting seperti poin no 6. Masukkan settingnya, kemudian restart tiap session virtual router.
7. Setting IP Address di Tiap Interface Virtual Router
Di tiap konsol, masukkan command berikut sesuai nama virtual routernya

Pengecekan:
Ping ke arah lawannya, jika dari edit mode gunakan run ping x.x.x.x (fungsinya seperti do di Cisco/F10). Untuk menghentikan hasil ping gunakan ^C
Baik, initial config done, sekarang siap dikonfigurasi.
